What bore guide for a TL3?

What bore guide are you guys using with a bighorn tl3? I don’t think a possum hollow will work because of the ejector.

Possom Hollow works fine for me in my TL3, I have both 223 and 308 versions.

Possum Hollow is good stuff, and good people. Give them a call.

I did and they said a number 4. I’m pretty sure my buddies was a number 4 and it didn’t fit.

I'm running a #5 Possum Hollow. I bought it for a totally different rifle when shooting 308, but have continued using it after switching to the TL3 and 6 Dasher. I'm running a #2 for 223 barrel in the TL3.

Figured I’d resurrect this thread as it’s the only one I can find with info on it. I have a possum hollow #5 I ordered based on this thread and it does not fit my TL3. It’s too large.

How are you to get passed the mechanical ejector anyway even with the right sized guide?

Taking it out would be a pain as I’d have to remove my action from my chassis

Never mind, just trimmed 1/4” off the back of the possum hollow in order to go straight in without touching my cheek riser on my MPA and it worked perfectly.

#5 is the ticket

if you dremel off the first of the little segmented pieces on the rear of it, it will fit without touching the cheek riser.

I use a BoreTech for 700's and it works fine.
