I'm wanting to know witch bullet to use in my Sako rifle short action for elk.
I have 5 to choose from.
1- Berger 140 VLD-H bc .510
2- Berger 150 classic H bc .505
3- Nosler 150 ballistic tip bc .493
4- Nosler 160 partition bc .445
5- Speer 145 bobtail bc .472

Looking for max range to 600 yds
Basically a mountain rifle with a 20" barrel 6lbs. w/scope
I've done load development for the vld 140 but I'm wondering if I should try the others?
Looking for results from others on here with experience with this caliber and max coal of 2.80".

Your input is appreciated!
Thanks

I guess I could add pics?

I'm pretty sure anything in that weight class is going to be laser like with the 284s. With the performance I'm getting with the 180 hybrid out of my 7/300 I would lean towards the bergers bc vs weight. I highly doubt any will perform poorly..
