what came first ???

4500!! I get way more use out of my wind meter than i do m y laser.

Congrats and we have them in stock if you need one

The range finder is nice to have sometimes, but the Kestrel 4500 with AB is used every time.

It all depends on what you plan to do. If you are going to go out in the desert and bang steel, an LRF would come in handy for UKD, assuming you have Ballistic FTE or similar. If your targets are KD, or plan on shooting comps (someone in the squad always has an LRF) get the Kestrel.

Get the 1600b first with a $20. Ballistic app for your phone.
Your'e going to get a lot better firing solution having to "guess" your environments then you will by "guessing" your target distance.
I have and like the 1600b, I don't use the on board ballistic computer.

Edit to add, Gofaster and I think alike, I was busy typing on my device when he posted his response.
