So, my wife is thinking about coming with me to the cup. She is not into shooting. Is there anything that she might enjoy nearby while I am shooting?

The King Ranch museum is in town, and there may also be tours of the King Ranch itself.
Corpus has a good aquarium, which is right near the carrier Lexington previously referred to.
A bit farther east of Corpus itself is Padre Island and Port Aransas.

My girl came with me to the Bash. There really is nothing to do around Kingsville or even 1 hour outside of it other than exactly what Lindy said. Even then.. the entertainment value is minimal. I guess it depends on your age group.. we're in our late 20's.
Believe it or not, my girl didn't mind just hanging out at RO.. there's female staff there if that'll make her more comfortable. Even then.. everyone is real nice. My girl had a good time.

My roommate from college spent a stint in Kingsville flying Navy trainers around (E-2C Pilot). He told me that the scene was not much more than sitting in a chair at his place drinking whiskey with the other flight school guys. Corpus was apparently the nearest civilization. However, he has been known to be completely satisfied with the former...

I actually think it would be cool for her to run the camera. She is a photographer, so we could get some great pics.
If there are other females hanging around, she might not hate it to much. I just want to make sure she wouldn't be stuck in the range shack reading magazines!
On a side note...why aren't there Caddys in this sport?

Just tell her that she's your spotter and it's the spotter's job to carry everything and make sure the sniper is comfortable.

there are also some shops in down town corpus...and if you are willing to drive a little farther north, you have little nick nack shops in aransas pass, and fulton on the bay.
oh, and by the way the lady lex, has some new stuff opened and some new exhibits. havent been to the aquarium in atleast 3 years.
