I am trying to find out information on a newly acquired Sako. From what I can tell it is a “fiberclass” stock possibly from Mcmillian. Obviously chambered in 270. It has an older Schmidt & Bender with some type of QD rings. Any info would be appreciated. Also, I am curious what the value might be.

I have one very similar. But yours seems to be newer just looking at the serial no#
Same scope mounts and integral rail.
Mine is a short action and yours seems to be also?

Anyway mine is a Sako imported by Stoeger in the late 70's, early 80's .
Best I can find is Marlin bought these to get into the bolt action market?

    Pretty cool rifle .
