What do you like to shoot?

Just sitting here on a rainy day in Coastal SC, Missing my favorite match. I'm going to try to make it back up to RRRC range in Roanoke this year. Me and my two friends started this match a few years ago. We started with gongs hanging on straps. I was hard to tell a strap hit or just nick on the gong. So we started using steel knockdown targets. I hit has to be off the rail. if it is on the rail it is a miss.

We have 1.5" eggs targets, 3" square steel targets, 5" X 2.5" IDPA, and 4" square, 6" square, and 8" square steel knockdown targets, that can be shot at berms at 150yds, 200yds, 220 yds and 285 yds, 330yds, and 400yds.
2 min. sight in and 2 min. for 10 records rounds to take down 5 targets at each distance.
Rail #1 150yds. scores 1 point each.
Rail #2 200yds scores 2 points each.
Rail #3 225yds scores 3 points each.
Rail #4 285yds. scores 4 points each.
Rail #5 330yds. scores 5 points each.
Rail #6 400yds scores 6 points each.

I am limited to 300yds here in SC. I now shoot Long Gong at 300yds. and reduced targets at 200yds. What do you like to shoot?

I had no idea that was up there. I'm in Blacksburg, which is about an hour away. I might have to check that out. I have been looking for more places to shoot monthly comps. Do you have to be a member to shoot in them?
