What drill bit are you using for the fx120i draft shield

Looking for some info on what kinda of drill bit for drilling a hole for my AutoTrickler. Can’t say that I’ve ever drilled Lexan before, and I don’t wanna break the draft shield if I can help it.

If it’s plastic, you can also melt it.

small pilot then a stepper bit to open it up. it’s not as complicated/fragile as you’re worried about. just let the boy do the work and don’t press too hard to flex it.

Just a harbor freight wood burning kit with a round tip

Get a wood boring bit of the appropriate size and run it as slow as you can and it cut good.

Just put some—any—piece of metal in a torch. Don’t overthink this.

I don’t have a torch but I do have a soldering iron. That’s why I asked ?

The step bit works good it took longer to go get one then doing the job.
