I bought two of his Rock 5R wrapped AR10 barrels a number of years ago and am selling one of them. I was asked what happened to him but have no idea. Anyone know? Also, what are they worth?

He sold his company to a larger outfit. They built a new facility, I think it is called Proof Research. Someone on the Hide tested heat transfer of the wrapped barrels, and found it moderately slower than standard barrels. So the cooling advantage was bogus. However the weight savings is impressive. I believe Proof Research plans to do mostly defense work. Might be just the thing for fast planes or even a tank with a long barrel.
