what happened here with the site

The site looks different, obviously, but now the most recent reply to a thread isn't at the top. Am i doing something wrong?

Your not doing anything wrong I asked the same question. Seems there are some moderater changes that have to be made for it to be set that way for default

Go to your settings, on left side click on link "general settings". Mid way down page change the thread view from "linear" to Oldest First or Newest First...newest in your case.
