I like the scope a lot, but have rolled the turrets in practice running my rifle through port holes and up against barricades.

Well of course you know that anything that you cover the turret with will impede your dialing. Vortex makes some caps you could probably modify to work with your TT or dig up something similar, a plastic or rubber cap. Reach out to Tyler at MK Machining and maybe he could print up a protective poly cap. As already mentioned, changing the manipulation of your rifle is the best practical answer.
Thank you on the MK Machining idea. I’ve been shooting competitions off and on for 15 years. One thing I’ve found is that non locking turrets are a no go for me - it has cost me points. I assumed that this scope had them., which the price for my ignorance is 4K. I really like the Gen 3 XR, and it has awesome glass, so I’m trying to make it work. We will see this weekend at the Lone Star Challenge if it bites me in the butt.

Yes, my Bushnell elite tactical 3.5-21 H2DMR Locking turrets have never moved under the most rigorous port hole stages. So I will therefor generously offer a straight up trade to anyone being tortured by the TT falling short.I'm sure someone with a locking turret model would swap
