Why is everyone calling their rifles "sticks" or "boom-sticks" lately??? Am i the only one that thinks it is kinda ghey??

I only call my shotguns "Boom sticks" because that's what Ash did, and Ash is god.

i've never put that much thought into it till now.
i call muzzle loaders smoke poles and shotguns shottys or boom stcks.
never really called a rifle anything catchy. well maybe lead launcher but i'm tryin to think of somethin better.
