I can't find any info about FOV on the USO website.

What is the Field of View on a SN3 3.2-17

and

SN3 3.8 - 22

1 - 4 Low 110' High 33'
1.5 - 6 Low 64.6' High 25.3'
1.8 - 10 Low 41.6' High 12.8'

got my specs from Optics planet for the 3.2 and 3.8 info, should probably alert them that they are advertising incorrect specs for your scopes Doc..

No. Focal length of the lenses determine field of view. Short focal length lens will have a wider FOV.

I don't think it does J. I believe it has more to do with a measurement of angle seen through the eyepiece...shorter eyepiece, greater angle and more field of view and vice versa. Probably other factors involved or I could just be full of shit and don't have a clue but it sounded good!
