What is top choice for DBM for 6.5x47 Rem 700 SA

I have used Badger M5 and CDI which use AICS 3902 mags, but know that Surgeon and Seekins both have great reputations as does Accurate, PTG and a bunch of others. Find the one that has the features you want in your budget. Having the stock correctly inletted is probably more of a hassle than finding the DBM itself

Bell and Carlson for Rem 700 SA. Bought a PTG DBM and single stack AICS MAG. Having a local gunsmith fit it as I couldn't get it to function. He's having trouble. Mostly the feeding is jerky, if it feeds at all.

I have found PTG to be hit and miss on quality, I just purchased an AR15 style dbm from PTG and it is very piss poor for quality nothing about it looks like it belongs in a rem700 I am not even going to try to install it I’m going to buy another apa and run a AICS mag instead

I run badger M5, good deals can often be found on the sale section.
A while back I ordered a Hawkins precision and sen't the stock to get inlet but didn't fit so I returned it and got the Badger. I'd say just be specific with the inlet because they're not all cut to the same spec.

I used an H-S Precision DBM on my Rem 700 for a few years. Pro: Easy, practically drop-in install and utterly reliable.
Con: Uses their proprietary magazine only (no AICS) and is limited in COAL to approximately 2.86". If you can accept the cons, it's a good system. I wanted the ability to load longer, so I went with CDI Precision. Excellent system which accepts AICS mags (I'm using Alpha Mags, so I can load out to about 2.965" if I choose.). But unfortunately, the owner of CDI recently passed away. Not sure if the business will continue or if it will be closing.

I like Hawkins and Surgeon, if you want one with an integrated barricade stop. If you’re going to use an Arcalok rail, then you want one with out a barricade stop. For these applications, I use APA and SOL. On more traditional hunting rigs, I prefer APA.

The Hawkins and SOL are relative bargains.
