What is your favorite barrel contour, and why? Tell me all about it!

Benchmark's VCC contour and/or Proof's Competition contour. My new favorite are my Bartlein 1.25" straight truck axles.

All are for matches or just target shooting.

Last 3 I ordered are Heavy Varmint. I may go straight 1.25 on the next comp gun. But it does matter what the rifle is used for.

3b for hunting rifle. Heavy varmint for target rifle.

1.25 for 5” then however much needs to come off to make it 1” at the muzzle. Whatever the maker calls that profile.

mtu or thicker for me I wanna try a untapped barrel next I love the extra weight to it .It's like a rock in place and feels like it to pick up , I will say the barrel does move when shot through I never have to readjust to get back on target for my next shot it's just still right on the same spot till I move it .
