Just like the title states. I have a 20" 300 winchester magnum in a Barrett MRAD. I'm looking into buying some Reloading dies and Brass. I have the barrel for sale in the PX. What kind of FPS can I expect with 230 hybrids or 208 eld-m with H1000, Norma brass, Federal 215m primers? I also have IMR 4064, RL17,15. I saw people use RL22,26,25?

    Thanks, IanHusaberg

IMHO, the only reason to go lighter bullet / faster powder would be reduced muzzle flash. Otherwise, heavy / high BC bullets and powders in the H4831 / H1000 burn rate are going to deliver best performance at extended range.

I am running a 28 inch 10 twist 208gr ELD 76gr of H1000 and I had an average of 2919 ft./s in 35deg weather. I would agree with the gentleman above somewhere around 2700 ft./s. You also might try 4000-mr it had promising velocities but was burning too fast for my barrel.
