I've got a Savage 110BA in .300 Win Mag and I've got a Schmidt & Bender 12-50x56 PM II/P scope with 34mm tube. I want something that will work with this scope and hold up well!
Most of you guys are Experts............. so please give me your recommendations.

Happy New Year & Thanks

I've said it multiple times: If you want rings (rather than a canted mount), go with Seekins. Glen and company are top notch in the service realm and his rings were more than adequate for my 5-25x56 PMII! Check out their website or SWFA (who I bought them from).

If going with a canted mount, I'd recommend going with DTA, GDI, Bobro, or Aadland.

Another vote for Seekins. I have the 34mm rings for my S&B 5-25x56 and they've been superb. I also use the Seekins 20 MOA base as well. Badger is also very good. But the Seekins are lighter and quite a bit less pricey.

Thanks everyone for your input.
Next question is what height scope rings do I use with my Savage 110BA in .300 Win Mag and my Schmidt & Bender 12-50x56 PM II/P scope with 34mm tube??

Is a One Piece mount like from Badger a better way to go? I don't want to have to ream or polish scope ring to get 100% true alignment. I've got the Scope alignment tools for 1" & 30mm and I rarely have to use them.

Plus, should I get a "0" or a "10" or a "20" MOA built into the Rings? I had a "Talbot QD" set of rings and I couldn't get the scope to zero as there wasn't enough adjustment in the scope for 100 yard shooting. What do you think of the "TALBOT QD" system?

Thanks a lot & Happy New Year!

Still learning at 65!

1" high 34mm rings. Same I use on my 5-25x56.

One piece mounts are not the way to go as they limit the amount of eye relief you can get as the rings are set and if you need to move the scope more then they allow you are screwed. Get a good 20 MOA base and a set of rings. Seekins Precision should be able to get you both but they will definitely have the rings as they have sets in stock.

QD has no place on that rifle.
