Rifle Scopes What saddle to put on my ar-10's

Re: What saddle to put on my ar-10's

id pass on that one, doesnt seem to be off good quality if you break it down, 250ish for the scope quality and 250 for the LRF quality. Id just get good with the mil ranging formula and rock on from there

Re: What saddle to put on my ar-10's

even the burris model has come down alot. its on the lower part of that page. that is a hell of a price drop. makes me wonder why and whats up. still its cheaper than the zeiss at $3k. see what the return policy is and give it a shot if your really into it. one less thing to carry

Re: What saddle to put on my ar-10's

I was wondering about the price as well. but at some of the other stores it seems that is the price even retail. as far as feedback everyone seems to recommend it.

but as the other guy put it 250 for the scope and 250 for the rangefinder kinda makes me think the quality of glass. Right now i have a vx2 and it has to at least be better than that.

though the burris one that is listed as well has a few defects after a while this one seems to hold up pretty well. still not sure yet since its a bit of money

I'd stick with simple shit that works without adding complexity. How about a proven scope used with a laser reangefinder seperately if you must.Maybe SS 10x or something. What's your budget anyway?

My DPMS .308 has such low recoil that most scopes would do just fine on it. With a $500 budget there is some Millet Mil dots for under $400 and Sightron,SS, Falcon Menace makes some nice scopes if you just keep your eyes open you might even find a great scope here in the for sale section for a great price to meet your needs. Good luck!
