Just wondering what height rings (30mm) you are using on your DPMS SASS. I would like to use the Leupold MK4 rings and scope but I am willing to listen to what works for everyone.

Scope I was thinking was either a Leupold MK4 M1 3.5x10 or Nightforce in the same magnification area.

I want the set up to be able to work with a OSTI night vision scope mounted in front of the day scope,as we are going to be switching over from the Simrads.

Thanks,
Lep

Lep,

I was in the same decision process about 2 weeks ago... I had just finished up a DPMS/CMMG MK3 and could NOT figure out which way to go...

I went with a 10X Super Sniper until I could figure it all out... If your looking at a 10X.. ther are easier ways to save money on other scopes... that was my reason for the SS line...

I think in the end I am going to want MORE magnification but will hold off til I can really figure out what scope I want to stay on it.. Ideally I would like something up to the 15X range... maybe the 20 range.. similar to a Leup Mark 4 6.5-20-50mm....

I know this doesnt help much... but this is what i did..

I also went with the SS 10x42 and the burris pepr mount. Very good up to about 200 yards. I have nothing but good things to say about the scope. I think I will eventually move up to the 16x42. Read as much as you can and try to spend your money well.

I went with the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22X50 on my SASS. I have an NXS 3.5-15 X50 on my AR 10A4 but found I wanted a little more magnification for my SASS.

I am thinking medium rings and possibly the Nightrorce.Anyone have any idea if it will line up with the forward mounted night vision scopes?

If you use a NF 3-15X50 or the 5.5-22X50 there is very little room left in front of these scopes especially if you use the sun shade.
