Rifle Scopes What scope power to get

Waiting for my new Vudoo to arrive. I want to top it with a Nightforce. Gonna try 22 F class. My question is, what power to get. 8x32 or 12x 42. Thanks, jeffbatt27

depends, as stated above budget comes in to play, also how far you plan on shooting, longer distance = more power needed. One thing to consider is the objective lens size, you could also get super technical about it and go into field of view, eye relief, and all that. But at the end of the day its personal preference in my opinion, ive seen dudes with low power optics pinging steel at distance no problem. I ended up going with a 4.5x29 though

Budget is $1500. I’m also thinking Sightron 8X32X56 . I don’t have access to these to be able to handle or look through. I will be shooting out to at least 200yrds. However the Nightforce bench rest scopes have drawn my attention.
