SuppressorsWhat should I lubricate my rifle threads with?
Anyone recommend a lubricant for my threads on my rifle. I just got it and a thread protector back from the gun Smith. I was thinking of using frog lube? Thanks
I have just got some FireClean to try out. I am going to put it on the threads and crown to help with carbon build up and removal. Until now I have used a little dab of nickle antisieze.
Use this stuff from Loctite. It is high temp rated and using it with my direct mount suppressor has never burned it off. The viscosity and thickness is just right for this application and the suppressor will mount and dismount smoothly.
