I recently bought a 595 Master Sporter and I purchased an EGW base to put on it. The EGW supplied screws have a different thread than the Tikka screws. Anyone know what thread it should be? I tried comparing the tikka set screws to a thread gauge and it looks really close to #6-40, but I would think that the Fins would use a metric thread?

Pretty sure it's M3.5, very close to 6-40 as you say.
I'd give EGW a call to send you the correct screws, tough to believe they would knowingly sell an M595 specific rail with the wrong ones.

I measured the original screws with a pair of calipers and they are in fact M3.5 x 0.6mm. I called EGW and they are going to send replacement screws.
