Rifle Scopes What Size Scope Rings

Did a search and really couldn't nail this down.

Savage .223 Trophy Hunter XP 11/111 with AccuTrigger & Short Action
Vortex PST 6x24x50

EGW 20 MOA Rail for Savage with Round Back.
Vortex 30mm Riflescope Rings

Called Optics Planet and was told to get the high rings. My gut tells me Low or Medium is proper, not high. I am pretty sure I've read somewhere in this forum not to get high, but I have read so much I am not certain.

Anyone who knows for sure, please feel free to chime in.
