I see a need for a good rear bag and maybe getting a shorter bipod.

Re: What to add?

if your going to switch out the stock anyway get a sps-v and swap out the barreled action. Otherwise you can't really justify the price difference in the two unless you REALLY want the parkerized finish

Re: What to add?

I see the need for a aftermarket trigger that alone will get your shooting more consistent. triad makes a great rear bag, but i agree the best thing you can do is just shoot more, and not just from the bench shoot from all positions and try to stay as consistent as possible. good luck dude.

Re: What to add?

Buy a good rear bag, and a batter trigger, then just practice, practice, practice. Put a good few hundred rounds through it, then upgrade to what you want. Upgrade your current set-up (rebarrel, re-stock, better optics, etc.) But for now spend most of your money on ammo. Enjoy

Re: What to add?

What rear bag do you suggest? I'm a tall guy 6'3" 200lbs. Should I get a Triad Tactical Pillow for the front, and a triad rear bag for the back? I think my 9-12 bipod is a little high, what do you think?

Yeah the 9-12 is too high. I would go with the 6-9 with notches and swivel.

Re: What to add?

For bench shooting, 9-12 might be too high, with your size, prone you might not have a problem. You should get into prone position, mount the rifle and look through the scope. Close your eyes for a couple minutes and see if your back feels much tension.

My 9-12 is a bit high for me in prone, but my buddy with his gymnastic chest has no problem at all. He actually has a funny looking position when using my 6-9 bipod.

Dry fire more and stay behind the rifle longer will make your body tell you exactly what you need.
