Today I picked up a Savage 110 Tactical in 6.5 Creedmoor for $450, feel like I got a smoking deal on that. Then I got a new Burris XTR II non-illuminated scope and XTR rings $600. I have $500 left, and the only things I know I need are an ASR brake and bipod of some sort. I already have a reloading setup, just need projectiles and brass. After the brake and reloading item, I have $300-ish left for bipod and whatever else. Any suggestions that will help?

Any of them are a great start. The PSR is great and the CAL is even better. It comes down to what your budget allows. If you are patient they come up occasionally in the PX but still demand almost full price.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out. Is the BT10 still good?

That might be one of the next guns on my list. I'm in the middle of tearing down my old flat backed .270 and putting a PST 3-15 on it, cutting the barrel down to get my form 1 on it, and finding a new stock to put it all in.

I'm running an Atlas BT10 on my Savage 10 in MDT LSS-XLGen2 chassis and love it.....there are better/more expensive options but this one serves just fine.

You could start with a BT10 and then move up later and recover virtually all of the first investment.
