Hey guys,

I have new virgin prepped brass ready to load up. I then shoot it and it is now fired formed to my chamber (bolt gun). I want to measure the stretch.

What do I need?

Isn't this a tool that clamps onto my caliper? And doesn't it indicate off the shoulder?

Thank you!

This is what i use. I have tried the L.E. Wilson Case gauges with case gauge micrometer, Hornady headspace gauge and a few others. The Whidden headspace gauge is the simplist and most effective I have found.

Hornady case and cartridge length comparators are what you're talking about.

You just need the Headspace one for what you're talking about...
