Read the books on loads, each gun is of itself.
Use Varget powder IF you can find it.

Love my SSG P11 and never had to reload for it because for some reason it loves surplus ammo.But like Lumpy Grits said each gun is of itself.Varget,RL-15,2520 are all powders that have worked good for me in 308.

Mine shot prety well with everything but LC M118 Match. I finally settled on 42.0 AA2520 under the Sierra 168 International bullet. Cases were M118 Match, and the combo chronograped at 2768 fps. It's a top end load in my rifle, so start at perhaps 41 grains and work up carefully.

When I was working with my SSG 69 it ran the best with IMR 4895 under 168SMK's [175's and varget weren't around back then!]
