I'm looking to start a new build, I'm a long range bolt action guy. I already have a .308 built and a .338 lapua. I have a .22 trainer type gun as well. So, let's pretend you have a decent budget (3-4k, not including the scope). What should be the next caliber I put in my gun safe?

I'm looking at building a 280AI based on a M70 myself.
 
How about something in 7mm? Like a 7mm Remington mag? Would fit nice ballistically between your 308 and 338
