Rifle Scopes Whats a Leupold LPS 3.5-14 x 50mm worth?

AAHhhhh the O'l LPS .
If it's the LPS 50mm obj./ side focal / then its the latter 2nd model design .
LPS scope run was around long time but (i believe) was been replaced by the vx7 run . I have had 3 of them over the years . ( I still own one ) wont get rid of it . My last one still sits on a XLR folder, Coyote rig build & it slays the fuck out them .
2st . it's good glass . Good hunting scope .
Leu. began that LPS run originally with 52mm obj & Obj. focal . Then finally moved the line to 50mm & side focal . My brother finally got rid of his last LPS & moved to the VX7 model with 50 Obj./ side focal / pop-up cap Turrets . I know he has had 2 or 3 of LPS also starting with the original 52mm Obj. model . So between both of us that is @ LEAST 5 and they are solid hunters model .

OK only downside with LPS is that there is NO factory remodeling of Reticule or Turrets . LPS is what it is . Duplex Ret. & 1/4 IPH erector system . Turrets are waterproof - low-drag profile height .
but It's strait forward solid hunting scope . Good Glass with focal clarity & good transmission of light & color .
It ' DOES' track & hold POA/zero - I did take one of them to 200- 300 - 600 yard up & down, several times over a period to check & it was all good .
( discontinued ) but It is still backed by Leu. and 100% guarantee even though it is discontinued . Leu. normally if discontinued model breaks ( it wont be fixed ) 'but Seriously' it will be replaced with (different) but equal (new box) current factory model Scope .

Resell Price (imho) . If it's cherry . No dings scratches . ring marks / in factory box papers . Always kept scope cover on it when transporting & sitting in the safe .
Then I would say offer 750-$ Top's is fair market price - 500-$ if cherry is very good deal . anything less than 500 & you walk away grinning .
