What's the difference between a weaver 330 or 440

Is there a difference between the weaver 330 and 440. Is it magnification?

I was looking at the 440 due to it being higher magnification for my new Creedmoor 03A4 I'm waiting on. I don't know how well I'll due with 2.5x with my eyes.

if your intent is to shoot cmp vintage sniper events, you will, most likely, be classified "out of competition" and results will not be counted. shooting for fun only, not for awards.

In that case, get some Redfield/Leupold 1" rings and mount a Weaver K4, or K4M60B if you can find one of those.
