whats the difference in the impact and R700 footprint

I see stocks being labeled as impact specific, but impact lists their actions as R700 compatible, so why offer both? only asking as I am looking at a used chassis.

The Impact has a trigger hanger.

Ejection port cut, bolt stop cut, and room for trigger hanger. This is more of an issue with stock then chassis but most chassis will need clearance for the trigger hanger. What chassis are you looking at? This will help best answer your question.
