Whats the difference?

I have been looking for a SPS Tactical, all i can find is the SPS V.
Aside from the barrel length what is the difference? Is the quality and different?

Would you guys wait it out untill the Tactical comes around or just pick up a V?
If i was to buy a V i would want to cut the barrel down a bit, 26" is alot.
How much would it set me back if i sent it to a smith to cut it back? How much more to thread the barrel for a brake?

I am a newb, please bare with me, i know its annoying, but you guys know ur shit.

Barrel length and stock are different. Oh and the SPS-T has "Tactical" engraved on it

if you could pick up a used PSS for $500 would you take it?
He say it has 40 rounds down it.

If it's a PSS in good shape with only 40 rounds down range if you don't buy it I will

If it's a used SPS for $500 I'd pass since they're not much more than that NIB...
