I was swapping triggers on a couple of lowers and noticed this safety selector on one that I picked up used. Admittedly I'm a novice, but I've put a few together and never seen anything like this???

Overtravel screw for an OLD Bushmaster or Compass Lake 2-stage trigger. It blocks the trigger from traveling much after releasing the hammer.

Gotcha. Thanks for the help! Now I just need to find some way to remove the thing. It looks like the screw that sticks out there is secured by a small set screw with an Allen head. Of course it's smaller than anything I own, so I'll need to track something down.
