What's the strangest thing you've done to fund your gun problem?

Like I said I whittled down by collection to just a handful of the rarest cards. They're selling on ebay for $200-$600 each.

There was a guy in my unit back in late '01 or so. He was the typical kid in the army, not sure he was into girls yet. Anyway, he spent ALL his money on pokemon shit. He had ALL the shit. I think it's what he joined the army for. I wanna say he spent his entire bonus on it too, $16-20k. No shit. You had to see it. His squad leader just wasn't the babysitter type. Really wasn't cut out for infantry but he fucking did it and came back too so I gotta give him that.

Me? I joined the army so I could play with their shit, was no buying that, so that's the strangest thing I've done. In a way all those weapons did/do belong to me, but having 'em at arms length is different.
