What's your thoughts ?

I am thinking late summer or early fall of 2021, but i am not sure about the prices coming down. Case in point i saw a Lb of Winchester Staball powder in one of my LGS priced @ 35.00. Two days later i went back into that same LGS and that powder was gone ! With state tax that one pound of powder would cost almost 40:00 $

Manufacturers aren’t expecting it within the next 18 months. Backorders and such are pushing it out at least that long.

Most aren’t willing to bring in more equipment as that takes time already and very real possibility of that new equipment just sitting once caught up.

IDT $35/# for powder is that bad???

OH yeah, ive bough powder from that LGS many times over the years, their prices have been around 25:00 $ for a pound of various brands.
Look at primers and powder, Varget, H4350, etc on Gunbroker. If ya gotta buy this stuff now, you can get it, but our hobbies have gotten very pricey!
Unfortunately, I'm addicted to shooting. Lol. There's probably a 12 step for it.

The current situation is insane and worse than 2008 and 2012. I'm thinking that if the newly seated Congress starts tackling issues other than gun control initially, we should see things normalize a bit by the end of 2021.

I have a buddy that owns a small gun shop here in South Florida a few blocks from my office. I usually drop in once a week and there hasn't been a single time that I've gone in there in the last 6 months that at least 4 people, that have never owned guns, go in and try to buy one within 30 minutes. So out of curiosity, I'll start talking to them and almost unanimously, they're all afraid of the police being defunded. So I'm hoping that with what happened at the Capitol this week, Democrats will start toning it down.
