    Bubba and Betty? Probably not.

    The typical Biden voter is on here and will be along shortly to praise destroying mobile home parks.

    Not all mobile homes are "trailers" btw. The one I own is on a lot in a small town with a concrete foundation, two trex deck porches and a great view of the lake. Its a super good sense home with 2x6 walls, nicer than stick built houses.

    The nearest contractor is 60 miles away and my coworker is using him to build a similar sized home. He is over two years into the project and its coming in at 300 or more a square foot with mid grade finishes.

    If you live away from a major town, a manufactured home might be the only way to get a home in under 2 years or $500K on your own property.

    Agreed, the well done double wides are tighter than stick built.

    But 'Trailer' has such a seedy ring to it. :p Expecially if you slur it to 'trey-la'.

    My wife and I toured a manufactured home builder several years ago when we were shopping houses.
    There selling point was they could hook there home up to a truck and pull it down the road at 65 mph and it would arrive intact.
    Try doing that with a stick built home and you’ll have to stop quite often to pick up pit.
    We did the stick built instead but only cause the wife wanted it.

    When i watch video's of the future, only see multi-level high rise dwellings, mega apartments. My mistake those are videos from the PRC when the drones are flying giving encouraging announcements. All kidding aside, are the FEMA trailers used for emergency housing going to have to be built to these new requirements? Pretty sure the last of the hurricane Michael trailers in use gave eviction notices out last year, now the trailers are being sold off and getting placed into trailer parks.

    Since the illegals are getting put up in nice hotels that leaves those crappy trailers fo po white trash and section 8 negroes. All 3 paid for by our tax dollars.
