Dihydrogen oxide BAD
I had a college chem professor that got his freshman students to walk a petition around campus for signature so that the very dangerous dihydrogen oxide would be banned. The prof was tenured so he couldn't get fired over this stunt but he did get into BIG trouble. The reason he got into trouble was because multiple professors signed the petition. The moral of the story is that the cattle that yell "green" have no idea that that term means.
