When to the Tucannon Wilderness Area this year near Pomeroy, WA. Saw lots of deer, a couple shooters, but none in range on opening day.

Saw a mature big horn ram two days in a row. In the shot below, he was walking down the road in front of us and hopped the fence to get out to the way.
