Geez....

Who buys a homemade plane and flies off into the sunset without a qualified mechanic giving it a once over?

Sounds like he had balls the size of grapefruits and a brain the size of a walnut.

Even worse....he traded a good plane for one that crashes.

The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. after Charles Alban traded planes with another pilot for a Taylor Monoplane earlier in the day, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said.

I have thought about building my own airplane some day. Probably never will, too many other projects.

But, if I did. I'd certainly never sell it.

Can't imagine actually buying a home made one from someone else.
