Long hex bits to fit my torque wrench for tightening the action screws through the AICS, or is it necessary to remove the skins each time? Thanks for any help.

I just ended up cutting a 2.25" piece of 3/16 allen wrench and JB Welded it into a 3/16, 1/4 drive socket.McMaster Carr has them in various lengths as well http://www.mcmaster.com/#1/4"-square-drive-sockets/=e37hdl It's not necessary to remove the skins each time.

Can't say for certain about hex bits, but MAC tools, and almost certainly Matco and Snap-On, sell 6" extended torx 1/4 hex drive bits for screw drivers and whatnot, it stands to reason they also have allen hex bits, if they're actual 1/4 square drive, as used on a rachet, they for sure have them, but I understood you to mean bits, such bits are usually only a couple bucks so the price diff really doesn't matter, if you can't find them elsewhere, if you meant 1/4 square drive those'll cost you.

Thanks guys, I cut the bent part off a extra hex wrench and put it in an orphan 3/16 socket I had. Works like a charm.
