Hi everyone, any one finding Hornady 147 ELD ammo?I have not been able to find it anywhere for over 6 months. All the 140 you want is available, but no 147.I was buying it on gunbroker and ammoseek would alert me but ammoseek shows nothing available now for over 6 months gunbroker has a few guys selling individual boxes.anyone finding it?

well I have not seen a lot of 147 gr factory ammo sort of funny thinking they would be all over that over charging people for it . ah who fixes anything anymore they just double the price and call it a new feature .

Have they been having problems with it 264win?

9 pages and that is just the tip of the iceberg

I m
Both my rifles love the 147 alot more
Not if they explode before impact, ;)but what I really meant was vs the Prime or Berger. The Berger 144 factory load outperforms both the 140 and 147 ELD loads for me, but it is much harder to find (and more expensive). The 140 ELD load is easier to find, less expensive, and honestly - for me it handled transonic better than the 147 in 6.5CM. Out to 1000 the 147 was better (I never experienced the exploding bullets), but beyond that the 140 was clearly better. And it was also better than the original Prime. I haven’t tried the new Prime.

I spoke to Hornady today, they said that problem was resolved in 2019,I said I see alot of people still having the problem currently, they had no reply.just ordered 1 box of Berger 144($62)Ouch,to try

Well, it IS the best factory load I've shot, so there's that consolation. Better MV and SD than either the 140 or 147 ELD loads. If you're playing at the edge of the cartridge's capability (as I usually am) it's probably worth the difference if you aren't going to handload. Under 1000 yds, I'd save the money and shoot the 140 ELD.
