On my FTR setup I am curious if there is a "rule of thumb" for the rifle's balancing point? It balances now @ about 2.5" forward of the recoil lug, without the bi-pod.
Using the Sinclair bi-pod and shooting the 308 Win, I have a few pounds I can add to the rifle if need be. My whole rig comes under 14 #'s without the bi-pod
