in a tactical scope i would tend to agree, but in a hunting scope, you can't beat the Z6I scopes. </div></div>
I hear what you say, I just don't see the point in buying a scope for similar $ but without the functionality. Buy a tactical and you can hunt long range, you can use it for lots of things, on different rifles and you only have to write one cheque.
I suspect most hunters have too much glass on top and may be better off with less glass and more functions.
I appreciate most people will go with the traditional view. Cheap laser rangefinders have changed the game and it is time to move on from the 'hunting' scope would be my view. </div></div>
the big thing i've found is weight. a lot of guys don't want to lug around an extra ounce, much less a scope that almost weights an extra pound. a lot of traditional hunters just want the low light capability, and to hold dead on and shoot targets at 100 yards. target turrets, zero stops, etc are lost to these guys, 30mm tube and illumination are all they really need to get it done
