Does anyone know where I can find scopes for handguns that have 30mm tubes? Or are they even made now? Years ago I had one on a T/C Contender barrel but can't find anything now.

Because I do....lol. They have more light gathering capabilities is the main reason I want one.

To the OP...I think if you compare the light gathering/transmission on the Nikon EER and Leupold IER and EER scopes, you will find them to be excellent and on par with 30mm scopes. I recently picked up a Nikon Monarch UCC 2.5-8x28 EER that I am using in the Scout position on a .45-70 Guide Gun. It is an excellent bit of glass and performs extremely well in dusk/dawn light settings.

Tube diameter has nothing to do with light gathering.
A long eye relief 30mm pistol scope would be cool for the reason of having more internal travel. I have a buddy with this issue on his 300 whisper pistol. Not much has enough travel to get him where he wants to be, even with a 40MOA base.

I had one years ago but they must not make them anymore. If I remember right it was a Tasco. So I guess that's why they can't be found now. I will definitely check out the Nikon's and the Leupolds. Thanks for the info on them ORD. I thought about a rifle scope sscoyote but I was wondering about the eye relief being a problem. How do you get around that if your handgun has much recoil? I know I wouldn't have to worry about that part as I am wanting to put the scope on a .22. A Ruger Charger to be specific.

HB-- u just acquire the tgt. and move your head back a bit, but with a muzzle break it tames recoil enuf for some very heavy kickers to use a riflescope. Here's what i put on my Charger-- www.rapidreticle.com --
