Range Report Which BC to Use??

    Found three BC's for the 90 Gr. Berger on the net
    .410,.411,.426

    How does one choose?.here .410 and .411 are close, but .426 is much different...other bullets could have a greater spread.

    I don't know which Berger 90gr bullet you are referring to. Based on your 2nd post about the Sierra 77 in 223 though, I'll assume we're talking .224" bullets.

    Berger makes two 90 grainers in .224":

    The 90gr VLD and the 90gr BT

    Here are the numbers listed in Bryan's book:

    90VLD: G7=.281 G1=.551

    90BT: G7=.262 G1=.512

    These numbers were arrived at by meticulous empirical experimentation by one of the world's foremost ballisticians, Bryan Litz, and published in his book "Applied Ballistics for Long Range Shooting".

    If you don't own it, you should.
