Which bottom metal & DetMag for Rem 700

Is the Wyatt's M4 DetMag/bottom metal the best bang for the buck for my R700 SPS Tactical? Looking for something that will drop in to my B&C Tac Med 2. Any other manufacturers to consider other than Wyatt's? 5-round magazine preferred.

i know they are expensive but i think the surgeon DBM is the top of the line. thats what I've got for my rem700 arc-sd and its awesome

Yeah, I did look at the Surgeon and they are only about $100 more than the Wyatt's. However, I am reading that they don't drop right in to a stock cut for a Remington 700 SA. Did you have to do any modifying to get it to fit?

I've been looking at the Surgeon also and have learned that on most if not all stocks it will require some trimming of the stock for it to fit. I will be putting one in my B&C 1000 M40 and although I am handy with a Dremel I plan on having the trimming done by a gunsmith who has done it before. I'm afraid I might screw it up.

Blushin - Did you fit yours yourself or have it done?
