Looking to buy some new brass for my 6.5 Creedmoor. Using Hornady brass right now and would like to try a different brand. I'm thinking Norma or Nosler. I'm excluding Lapua right now because I have a lot of large primers right now. I think my biggest deciding factor is consistency first, then longevity. Any one care to offer an opinion? thank you!

I purchased Nosler brass before Lapua came out with their 6.5 CM brass, and have no complaints. I like them better then the Hornady's, a little heavier, primer pockets feel tighter.

Are you saying Norma is better than the Lapua?

Well, that would be a stupid statement to make, I think Norma has higher quality standards, but consistency, I wont say that. I just think you need to look at the whole picture of what you are trying to buy and make an informed choice, Will you see it downrange, will brass last longer making it cheaper in time. Norma brass not known for primer pocket retention, but I have 243 brass from them that I am impressed, but bought a new box and does not look like standards prevail.
I like both companies, but at some point I ask myself, will my brass last 2 chambers, a lot going here too?

Sure, I understand, I did see a few reviews on Midway guy (actually two guys) was complaining about primer pockets. Well, maybe I'll just bite the bullet and get the Lapua (if I can find it, haven't really looked). Is Nosler not even comparable to Norma or Lapua? I'll see if my local gunshop has CCI BR4's

I see mikehotel likes it

ETA: looks like Lapua brass is not available right now

Norma makes nosler's brass for them. Try peterson brass. Its in stock right now, with both primer sizes available. Very reasonable priced, and comes packed individually in nice cartridge boxes too. Im testing it side by side with lapua and hornady. Got a little sidetracked on it though as some other projects interrupted me.

How is the Peterson brass working for you? I'm looking for a good LRP Creedmoor brass, and this stuff is looking promising.

So far so good. In the initial phases on the 6.5cm and 260 testing. Accuracy is very good, and comparable to my lapua CM brass. Off topic, but their 338 lapua brass is awesome! I'd pick it over lapua brand .338 in a hearbeat, and i'm a huge lapua brand fan.

I'm a huge lapua fan also I just think they went wrong when using a small Primer. I was having ignition issues with the small Primer and slower powders.
