i was lookin at the nosler180bt and b.c.507 would this be abetter choice over the 178 a-max for out to 1k. thankyou in advance .

The BT is a hunting bullet, should get you out there but they will be more expensive. I recently switched to NOScc because they shoot just as good as SMK at $5-$8 cheaper a box. The NOScc in 175 has a BC of 505 and should get you to and little past 1000.
Also you have to look at the trade off between the weight, retained velocity, and if how your barrel handles the 180's.
