I am thinking of getting the Bushnell Elite with the Ill-BRT reticle below. Would you guys select this over the standard mildot reticle? Or would you pony up the extra $100 and go for the G2DMR? This is going on a DPMS LR-308 for mostly 100-600 yd shooting with the eventual 1000 yd shooting. Mostly on silouhette and circle targets

Re: Bushnell's new BRT reticle a good upgrade?

I'd go G2DMR. Better since you can do things like combined holdover + wind holdoff + target lead. Useful when you want to engage things quickly, without touching the turrets...

No, but you didn't say anything about shooting in the dark.

You are correct, I did not. But I will have the ablility since I have a keycode to get into my range and could shoot from the wee hours of the morning until late evenings (especially since less people would be there at these times). So I'm thinking illumination would be of added benefit to me. When I 1st posted this, I did not realize the G2DMR was not illuminated.
