Which Kestrel?

Re: Which Kestrel?

Its of use if your using on the fly data with software that accepts blue tooth input from the kestrel.

Also good if you put the Kestrel 4500NV BT on a weather vane and tripod, and put it out in the field and let crosswind value come to your ballistic calculator via bluetooth.

I guess farmers could also have some use for it, to upload data to a weather station pc

Re: Which Kestrel?

Kestral is coming out with a new meter that will have a shooting program on it. I called the company and it is supposed to be out in January 2011. They have a preorder list you can get on. The lady at Kestral said it would cost in the mid $500s. I had already got my 4500 NV when I found out about the new meter. Otherwise I would wait on this one.

thanks for the info on this. I thought I had heard bits and pieces about this. Do you suspect it will basically be a kestrel and a pda combined?
