Rifle Scopes Which mount and rings for Savage 10FP?

Ordered a new 10FP and also a new SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical scope with rear focus. Looking to put together my first range rifle. What mounts and rings should i use? Which will work together.

I like the bagder bases and seekins rings. both have been very durable.

EGW has a new HD Low mount for the Savage that sits a little closer to the action, and is machined from solid barstock. With the Super Sniper I used the low Burris Extreme Rings. This combo will keep the scope down closer to the bore.

I have a flat Warne base and low TPS steel rings. I get 68 moa with my 10x SS. I should have gotten a 20 moa base in case I upgrade to a scope that doesn't have as much travel.

Do i need to get a 20moa base just in case.

Depends on if you need the extra moa?

Are you planning on shooting at long distances?

IMO i'd just go ahead and run the 20moa base.You'll have it if you need it.And it wont hurt anything if you dont.
